instead of copying the initial color channel 1 then pasting it in the color trigger, you can just chose the color channel in the trigger and press default which will set the color in the trigger to the one you've set in the initial color channel as well as the opacity value and the blending

u can also add a low opacity black screen between the player and bg to make the effect not as bright

I would love to learn more about how you just experiment with this type of stuff as a growing effect creator myself. I know how to make some cool gameplay, and I've been able to make some really cool effects as well (I have videos on my channel). If you wanted to collab or something like that, then I'd be down for it, or a creator contest with all of us would be pretty cool as well. Love your videos, and they've always inspired me to try some stuff in the editor with what you've shown us. Keep going, and have a good day!
