Swimming with Manatees at Three Sisters Springs Florida | Crystal River Florida

Our next adventure took us to Three Sisters Springs Florida over at Crystal River where we set out to swim with manatees! Peak season for manatees at Crystal River runs from mid November till end of March. Where at any point you can see 300-900 Manatees at one time! These gentle creatures can get up to 11 ft in length and weight between 800 -1,200 pounds! crystal river kayaking

The best time for you to go out there is early morning to avoid crowds and throughout the weekdays since there aren't as many tourists out there. Day #1 we did our own Kayak adventure and rented Kayaks from Paddles outdoor. Crystal river kayak was amazing and the staff at Paddles Outdoor were great to work with! 3 sisters springs is a one of a kind experience, while there we checked out hunter springs park in kings bay Florida.
