Can you show how you wired this experiment. Trying to measure the exact same dimensions (USB power), but get totally nonsense readings on the current. I'm using the 100A / 75mV shunt that came with the tester.

Thanks for this - does it mean that I can check battery capacity with a lower discharge that 50A or will that stunt always pull 50A and destroy my 20A capable battery?

You are using a 50 A shunt to measure very accurate instrument indeed. Will the display change to Amp ...if you go over 1000 ma ? Thanks
