Alright, lemme clear this out.
As a saitama main, i use garou sometimes aswell.
When i play saitama, i feel free, i feel like im actually enjoying it.
But when i play garou, i feel limited.
All of garous attacks dont allow you to move while using it, but saitamas dont freeze you.

I personally play garou just because I love the character in opm both anime and manga. Garou also made me love martial arts and motivated me to practise them irl. I'm a casual tsb player with over 20k kills and whenever some random tryhard yells at me that I'm bad with garou or fake 20k and that kind of stuff, I just think: "Nah, the community ruined the character". The fact that by playing garou casually and not intense tryharding makes you to look "bad" says so much about this silly community.

Why i love garou

1. Loads of techs
2. Smooth and arguably one of the best m1
3. Dopamine inducing animations and making me think "I'm him"
4. Challenging.
5. Having garou's theme played on the background makes me go haywire.

Im a saitama main, and if i had to rank every character in terms of skill (No bias trust) I'd go from most to least-Saitama-Metal Bat(Hear me out I'll explain in a sec)-Garou-Atomic Samurai(You could swap him and Garou if you Metal Bat is that high up because anyone can pick him up and kill any old chump, but if you wanna kill someone with more than 5k kills with him, you need to be, REALLY, good with your movement and timing. BUT ranking them based off how fun they feel to play for me, I'd go Saitama-Martial Artist-Metal Samurai, Garou to me just doesn't feel fun unless I'm doing well, like I can do terrible as Saitama but still have fun because whilst doing BAD as Saitama you can still compete with the opponent, but Garou's definition of doing bad is not hitting anything, and his definition of doing good is hitting everything, he lacks a middle ground that other characters have because decent garou play is just you losing but not as hard. You lose as Garou unless you hit every or almost every combo you attempt. I don't want to feel restrained to using the same easy combos just so I don't get dog walked by GonzalezGamer(RealKJ)2014 whos playing Suiryu and moving around like he has a squirrel in his shorts.

I think why garou has i frames is maybe because in the anime he fought 11 people all by himself and still won so i think thats why its good for teamers and huge crowd fights.
