Yass! Finally someone is keeping it real about Amazon returns!! I cringe when I see these Amazon gurus doing videos on how much profit you can make on Nike & Adidas. I learned my lesson within the first few months- and I refuse to sell in this category. What ever little profit I made the first 2 months was eaten up by the 3rd & 4th month due to returns. Never again!!

Thank you for the transparency man! Unfortunately many “gurus” online do not disclose the negative aspects such as this with Amazon FBA. I feel like a lot of us Amazon sellers have had scary moments in which our businesses were at risk of collapse. I have had scary moments too, but we as sellers just push through and learn from the mistakes. I too was uncomfortable with sending via LTL to Amazon until my supplier had a large order of fragile items come in, and I had no choice but to use LTL. Now I love LTL. It’s more efficient with prepping, and it saves money. Plus that’s what all the big boys do (Walmart, Target, Bestbuy, etc.). Honestly it makes me feel more legit as a retailer when I’m using LTL for shipments.
