Robot Chicken - Star Trek: The Next Generation's Night Crew

In this clip from the June 29th episode of Robot Chicken, we find out who runs the bridge of the Enterprise after Picard (guest star Patrick Stewart) goes to bed. Chris Pine voices the night crew's captain.

Having Sir Patrick Stewart yell "beer me!" is one of the best things this show ever did xD

I love Patrick Stewart because he does stuff like this and he loves it. He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company a long running and prestigious theater group and yet he does stuff like this. He seems like one of the funnest men you could ever meet and I would love to meet him.

Y'know, the thing I've noticed in a lot of the parodies from the creators of Robot Chicken and Family Guy, when it comes to Star Trek and Star Wars, they don't hesitate to pull every gag they can think of, but at the same time they go to a lot of trouble to get the details right in things like the ships, sets, characters, costumes, etc.

This is extra funny if you watched both TNG and Night Court. Everyone knows about Picard but few people have ever heard of Night Court. The basic premise of Night Court was there was court room that had trials at night and they were a wacky version of the day time court. Robot Chicken did a great job splicing the two series together. It is genius.

I find it funny that both captains are voiced by two actors who played captains of the enterprise - Chris Pine being James T Kirk in the reboot star trek films and Patrick Stewart voicing his character Jean-Luc Picard.

Love the beginning when he says make it so and wakes up.
