I have an idea: Put these hostile witnesses in a soundproof booth, with a little box that has two buttons marked "Yes" and "No". Ask the question and then give them only the option of pressing either the button on the left or the right. And any other response gets them a brief shock of 110 volts. In time they will eventually learn to answer a "Yes or No" question with either yes or no. :-)
