“In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.” Psalms 94:19

She shared some interesting things, but she evidently missed the fact that Jesus was so well-trained in the Scriptures that He was asking questions and discussing the law in the temple at age 12 to the astonishment of the teachers of the law. At that time He knew exactly who He was and what His purpose was: “Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” He knew that God was His Father and not Joseph. I wonder when Joseph and Mary told Him about the miraculous nature of His birth, the visits of the shepherds and magi and may even have retained some memories of their stay in Egypt. I wouldn’t be surprised if He found Himself in the Scriptures during the years of His growing up—either in type or in direct prophecy. He would have known that He was directly descended from David—through both His mother and Joseph.

I have been around Christians all my life and i didn't find any 'big mistakes' apart from the feminist Jesus (and this wasn't a view of the people I knew). Although to be fair, Jesus treatment of women was probably better than other leaders of the time. There was something egalitarian about Jesus which is appealing.

That's how people from the outside looks at Christianity, different kinds of "Jesus", to each his own Jesus, as a "compromising" Jesus.
The devil sow confusion, Christianity has too many denomination.
There cannot be differentiation in the truthful interpretation of the Scriptures within the Bible because there is only one truth of God, not hundreds of variations of half-truths and falsehoods
The Sermon on the Mount is a real sermon about real life. It is a direct commission of our Lord Jesus to the men and women who freely choose to follow him, imitate him, and continue his work on earth. The Sermon on the Mount is a revelation straight from the mouth of God. The Sermon on the Mount, therefore, is demanding, but it is also achievable by God’s grace.

Sounds like she's correcting misconceptions that "liberal" Christians have about Jesus: love is god (and not love is an attribute of God), Jesus was a socialist (and not how Jesus wanted nothing to do with economic/political ideologies), how Jesus was this or all those things, conservative Catholics don't believe of Jesus, we do believe that His Message was rigorous BUT it brings forth eternal salvation and THAT is worth it.

I really can’t tell whether the speaker here is purposely flippant in her responses or whether she actually thinks here commentary is serious and thoughtful. She makes such ridiculous, broad-sweeping straw man caricatures of Christians and Jesus that I can’t figure out if she is serious or trying to mock the caricatures in some way that’s lost on me.

The Law had curses and blessings. The fact that Rome was in Israel speaks to disobedience as the blessings of the law would not have allowed that. Rome couldn't be in Israel apart from the Fathers Will. They were in need of salvation.
God was pleased through Christ to reconcile "to himself" all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Furthermore the world outside of Israel was living in darkness and ignorance with many false Gods in unrestrained sin. So Gods plan of salvation was for the whole world not just Israel. God so loved the "world". Its not just about a Jewish Jesus but about a Jesus who was before Abraham was born who God spoke to us by in these last days and made a light for all the world to see.

if he didn't know the scriptures the rabbis would have no reason to arrest him for it is on the basis of his quoting scripture and reinterpreting it that angered them. I mean she is right in the point all christians have a good and bad understanding of Jesus. we all do. even jews have a bad understanding of their jewish bible. if it weren't true they wouldn't be clamouring around to find a Rabbi, now would they.

The Pharisees developed the concept of pikuach nefesh, saving lives. Saving lives supersedes observing the Sabbath. That’s the law!

As I was listening I was wondering what informed her opinions. Because they r contrary to the accounts in the Bible or she believes that the Bible is not an accurate collection of historical documents backed by 1000s of manuscript evidence?

Christ is King. Your words against Christ will have no value whatsoever because he is The King of Kings.

I kept waiting for her to say what Christians get wrong about Jesus. I agree with everything she said. That doesn't mean anything...

The great falsehood of the time of christ is most of the residents of the holy land are not the children of Israel at all. Until we come to that truth one will not understand that time period. The confirmation to this statement is Jesus own ministry. His ministry is only in Galilee and pockets of Judea. Christ came to redeem the housecof Jacob. Paul would be the apostle sent later for the ten tribes! This is what most people get wrong about the time of Christ.

The biggest mistake is highlighted in the title. From the Bible it self "Jewish Jesus's" mission was for the Jews.

The scales haven’t been removed from this woman’s eyes yet so, it’s no wonder she’s so confused. Also, she seems to be frothing in bitterness, which is typical of someone who denies Jesus as the Messiah.
