For anyone who cares to know that doesn't, instead of adding in new circles for each part after the base is made, just highlight the circular edge loop you already have on the base and ctrl D, right click, right click>separate selection. Then you have another separate object the same size and it keeps all the modifiers...if you want them. fyi, I'm not trying to say I know how to model better than Derek at all. He's waaay better than myself but we are all learning good things thanks to people like him!
Thanks for the great video Derek!! Love these!

For those who dont know: the "distance" value in the bump node is in meters so if you have it at 1 it's trying to fake lighting as though that section is 1 meter displaced from the object which leads to artifacts between areas of white and black due to the stark transition so just using an appropriate "distance" value for your application should fix most artifacts

or just do what derrk did and play with each slider, it's all fake lighting/displacement anyway just to get to your desired result

Really good Tutorial, Thank you!

For the "Lipstick-Slant" I ended up using a Boolean to get that flat tear drop cut.

Thank you! I love your tutorials! I always struggle to get such nice juicy materials for my renders. So I will try to repeat the exact lightning and materials. BTW, I guess the lipstick part should go down inside when the lid is on ;)
