All of the English refs in Euro 2024 have had controversy in all of the games they've been refereeing on. No other refs from any other countries have had so many issues except the english ones.

The problem is that even with the help of tech we can't have any consistency in football refereeing.
It's becoming a travesty.
Blokes from a local pub could agree on the rules better and be more consistent then whole UEFA and FIFA together.

To start the referee was painful, I mean he forgave Germany a damn for the fouls and yellows, Kroos at least 3 yellow (injuring Pedri) and at 6 he could have already thrown him out. The penalty was clear, the referee is simply late or it would not be safe, the VAR does not come in because before it was offside or handball, the problem is that they do not clarify it in the broadcast. And not to mention the added time that should have been whistled 3 minutes before the end
