I work with Middle School students, I hear, "This is stupid" a lot. I feel a hardening wall of anger and resentment in some of them, and I perceive behind it a feeling of helplessness and almost rage. It is intense. I feel only love. This talk by Matt helped a lot. Many teachers judge Middle School students to be a "problem, " but these "rebelling" kids are tuned in to the very dilemma of our human suffering. Can anything save us but love? May I be a lightning rod of forgiveness and understanding for these kids while I appear to teach grammar. Thank you Matt... xoxoxo
