I just stumbled upon this video. I’m 58 and looking pretty good for my age, all things considered, and now at an age where I’m very happy in my own skin. How refreshing to see someone young who understands that the loveliest makeup of all is accepting yourself and using makeup to help you look like the best version of you — the REAL you. I wish other artists would understand that over 50s don’t need more makeup. It’s really hard to find sales associates who get that, and very frustrating at times. We should celebrate what makes us unique instead of trying to contour, bake and shimmer ourselves into plasticized mannequins. You’ve restored my faith in the beauty industry. Thanks. 😊

Absolutely love the look it's so fresh and realistic. I go for more natural during the work week I can't be in the mirror for an hour in the morning putting on makeup I usually do mac mineralized skin finish powder brows mascara and a nude lip if I'm feeling like a bit more, maybe a dark brown or a contour powder to give dimension to lid and some blush. On the weekends when I have more time I do more and get a lil more glam.
