I had the opportunity to be there when it was recorded. It was an amazing experience. I love this kind of music.

I was fortunate beyond words to see and hear John Tesh and this same group of top-flight professional musicians in New Philadelphia, OH on Valentine's Day evening a few years ago. Although I have certainly been to my share of concerts (jazz and big band), this ranked as one of the finest. I'm so gratified that many others love and appreciate this kind of music, albeit I'm not around them now, unfortunately.

I just come alive when ever I hear and see this video and it takes me back to that Special PBS taping and VIP Invite for that Awesome Night of Taping in Studio. What an Honor and Privilege, too, to experience this live in Studio. Thanks, John Tesh and Band, Big Band Swing.

l L-O-V-E THIS! This Brings back so many good memories of sitting in Studio when I had one the most awesome opportunities of my Life Time, to sit in as a VIP in studio, while this was being recorded for PBS. One of John's finest works, in Swing Style.

The drum fills at 3:13 is tasteful and is spot on. So many times I've witnessed drummers go completely over kill and it doesn't complement the tune at all. A drum fill is supposed to enhance the tune and lead into different sections of the tune tastefully and build up the excitement. The solos are really awesome as well. I'm surprised about the composition of the trombone section. One tenor trombone one bass trombone. That is doable depending on the circumstances. Ideally in my experience during high school with the Ferris High School Jazz Orchestra. We had a lead a second 2 third trombones two bass trombones. I was playing the bass trombone and had the most beautiful amazing experience ever. I loved every single second.
