Supreme Court justices are not supposed to be a 'guy next door.' They are supposed to be the best, most reputable, most respected legal minds in the country. I have nice neighbors who I even trust to watch my kids on occasions, yet I wouldn't trust them to make decisions on the interpretation of law that can have decades long consequences for the entire country.

So let me get this straight. We are going to let a guy that is literally unable to speak under oath in a courtroom because he would perjure himself, choose yet another judge to serve on the highest court in the land in a lifetime appointment?

If you don’t see that as such a joke then you have blinders on. This foolish man child is so incredibly incompetent that his own lawyers believe he is physically unable to tell the truth... and we want to give him the keys to our justice system and let him make a decision that will affect the highest court in the country for the foreseeable future.... and everyone is fine with this?

Wake up sheeple. They won’t even let us see this guys records, yet he wants to be a Supreme Court judge? Give me a fucking break. That shouldn’t be allowed. You can’t just withhold information about somebodies past that is being looked at to fill one of the most important positions in the entire government. You and I can’t deliberately withhold information about our pasts when we apply for a normal job, and if we did the hiring manager would clearly be suspicious of potential wrongdoing. But when it comes to a Supreme Court Justice these republican buffoons just expect everyone to be okay with looking the other way and not questioning what might be in those records that could indicate that this man is unfit to be a Supreme Court judge.

I guess they’d rather us find out how bad of a guy he might be after he is confirmed and sitting on the bench
