I was excited and hopeful for this new release as well... Only to be super disappointed.

It may be HTC's current CEO [Cher Wang] who has been CEO since 2015 making a series of unfortunate decisions for HTC.

Back in HTC's glory days, there was a different CEO by the name of Peter Chou that excelled the brand into the popular brand that we all knew and loved.

I don't think we'll see anything impressive from HTC until there is new leadership in the company.

For a comeback, lost opportunity due to design impact. Better use the HTC One M7 design with full screen view on the front. They should be using their nostalgic famous footprint into modern design. HTC have a very good design team back then..

I’m an Apple user. I will always be an Apple user. Wouldn’t touch a Samsung if you paid me. Htc however was the one android phone that I could tolerate. Htc 10 was the best android phone I ever owned. I was intrigued when I heard the rumors of HTC making a comeback. Seeing this phone, knowing this is what they do to try to stay relevant is simply disgusting. I hate to say it but this company deserves to fail. Senseless decision. Why the hell would you tease a piece of trash like this and expect people not to be disappointed? Seriously mind boggling. Goodnight HTC.
