So, I went to LEGO's Pick-A-Brick and ordered the pieces to make a few of these. I wasn't certain that I had the piece count right so now that I am positive, thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to order them. You need 8 of each piece except the 1x2 plate of which you need 24. I will mention that I was trying to get all the pieces to be the same color but for some reason, the angular plate is a shade off. If you want them all the same, I'd start with this piece and select the rest of the pieces based on its color.

I spent 2 hours searching in my enormous mountain of bricks, but I eventually gathered all the 8 magic artefacts required to craft the Cube.
