Everything Roblox Revealed at RDC 2024

Roblox Developer Conference 2024 has concluded and here are (almost) all of the new updates, features and even an event Roblox announced including Roblox's new 1000 friend limit!

I'm a bit skeptical about video ads mid-game, as if it would profit the developer of the game by alot, many games would start implementing these as mobile games do, which is not good as I always adored Roblox for never interrupting my experience while playing.

0:41 Honestly I'd like to see a group where the gimmick is that it's like how the forums functioned back then. (Hopefully that idea doesn't go bad because when I used it back then, it was a literal hell so I'm praying something like this goes well).

most of these updates don't actually seem that bad, like the video api and posting thing actually sounds kinda sick, the streamer mode and the friends limit being raised is useful, the custom matchmaking is cool, the groups needed a revamp and the genre selection revamp makes sense.. W FOR ROBLOX!!

i havent devved on roblox consistently since 2021 but theres so many changes i dont know how to feel this is far different from the roblox i knew from 2016. glad about the old features coming back though
