Good info. I didn't even know that there was an alternative submission method. And your video was the first one that popped up on my Google search. Hopefully, I can quickly exit my career mode, change the setting on the main menu (it would not allow me to change it mid-match, nor does it allow you to change it in the career mode options menu), and then return to career mode with this turned on.

i cant win using the alternative system. Although my opponents body is all red i cant win. im pushing the buttons as fast as i can. But just before i get him to tap, my opponent seems to push the button in lightspeed. I dont like both submission systems

It is better for performing submission moves but utter dogshit for getting out of them, you are losing if cpu locks a finisher.
