Psarades is a picturesque Greek village with not many inhabitants on Lake Prespa.
It’s a 60 Km drive from Florina but on a mountainous road.
There are many taverns and we suggest you rent a small boat with a local guide to tour the lake. As you can see, it is also worth taking a walk around the houses of the settlement.

Prespa is a region located in southeastern Europe, shared by three countries: Albania, Greece, and North Macedonia. The Prespa Lakes are a group of two freshwater lakes, Great Prespa Lake and Small Prespa Lake, located within these three countries' borders.

Psarades is a village located on the western shore of the Great Prespa Lake, in the Greek part of the Prespa region. The village is known for its traditional architecture, natural beauty, and the picturesque landscape of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Psarades is also a popular destination for birdwatching, as the lake and its wetlands provide habitats for numerous bird species, including pelicans, herons, and cormorants.

In Psarades, visitors can enjoy hiking and cycling in the nearby mountains, swimming and fishing in the lake, and exploring the local culture and traditions. There are also several taverns and restaurants in the village where visitors can taste the local cuisine, which is known for its fresh fish, homemade pies, and traditional cheese and meat dishes.

Overall, Psarades Village and Lake Prespa offer a unique and authentic travel experience, where visitors can immerse themselves in the region's natural beauty and rich culture.
