hey hey ,
So on this video I will show you how to install a multi unit electric meter base , in philippines .
The unit consist of 9 meter base , Nema 3R , Wire gutter box , Main circuit breaker box, I also used a 200 amperes main breaker, and a 9 pcs 60 amperes distribution breakers, wire sizes I used was a 60 mm2 for service Entrance and a 14 mm2 for the meter base with 8.0 mm2 grounding ,
In wire Gutter box I used a solderless connector with a size of 2/0 -3/0 and a rubber tape and plastic tape for insulation.
The height of the meter base is around 160 cm to 200 cm , and the standard requirement are 150 -210 cm
The height of the wire loop are around 3 meters from the ground,
I also used lock nuts and silicone sealant to seal nema ,and gutter box .
The brand of breaker I used are CHINT

MULTI UNIT ELECTRIC METER BASE INSTALLATION (PART 1 )

On This video i will share to you , how i install a multi unit electric meter base (9 meter base with nema , wire gutter box ,and a main Circuit breaker.

I used a 60mm2 THHN wire for service entrance , and a 200 amp main circuit breaker ,enclosed with a weather proof panel box
The wire gutter box is 110 cm in length and 1ft in height, same size in nema 3R
The meter bases are all single phase and terminated as line to line ,
The distribution Circuit breaker are all miniature type Chint brand and are all mounted in a 1 Meter long DIN rail, 63 amperes in capacity.
In the wire gutter box , i didnt used any crimping tools , as alternative i used a R 3/0 - 2/0 Solderless Connector ,insulated with a rubber tape and an Electrical tape.
The Size of my feeder line are 2 pcs no. 14 mm2 pledge dodge . THHN and a no 8 mm2 THHN for grounding.
