Seeing Rani Ki Vav was absolutely one of the high points of my life. I was speechless. I felt the same at the Kailash temple in Ellora. Even the Tajmahal did not take my breath away like this. And I am saying this after seeing the mind blowing monuments and temples of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Fun fact: Rani ki Vav is also printed at the back of our 100Rs. currency..
I first came across this phenomenal structure in Travel XP and it took my breath away...How Indians created such marvels of architecture and how did we lose this skill never fails to make me wonder!!

I was there in 2016, and it's absolutely more beautiful in reality than one can ever imagine, I was flabbergasted when I climbed down the steps to the bottom and the way it's built. It is truly a masterpiece architecture in its own right. I was left speechless the way it was constructed, amazing.
