Came accross the MonaLisa Twins on their livestream by accident today. A breath of fresh air. They are fantastic. I love their origional songs. I am in it for love and Politician. I am amazed at how good they are. Absolutely superb.

I've been trying to figure out what it is about their music that I like so much, and I'm thinking a huge part of it is just how happy, cheerful and charming it is, and they are. There's plenty of bad news in the world these days, but I listen to Mona and Lisa and find myself smiling, laughing, the stress is gone, and I'm ready to hear more. I love it.

Mona and Lisa use the same four words in their music that Lennon/McCartney used, more than any other songwriting duos. What are those words? "You", "I", "Us" and "We". They are, in fact, the four most powerful words in English communication.

Okay, after hearing this almost 50 times, I have to say that I find the bass line on this composition just perfectly matched to the feel and flow. It is not trite, it is sophisticated but not flowery. Kudos to the artists responsible, (presumably the twins) and to whomever mixed it.
