DIY Particle accelerator (part 2)

Показать описание
This is the follow up from part one, the conditions are met for a successful detection and measure of accelerated particles in a homemade Linac.
The results are cross checked and scrutinized for reliability. A lot more work and footages did not make it to the final video, but I am very happy with the results. Obviously, I do not have the power needed for nuclear reaction, but the principle of operation are here. Enjoy!

It would be a crime against humanity if you're not invited to Open Sauce 2024

Man this is BEYOND awesome!! You bring nuclear physics closer to an average enthusiast from the countryside. That's highly commendable!

Not only is he doing all this he's taking the time to record, edit, explain, and share... that's a lot of work.

It is remarkable how tools so fundamentally unintuitive and complex can be assembled using readily available parts, let alone understood. It is easy to take scientific discovery for granted, but things like this are an inspiring testament to human ingenuity and the unending curiosity that has brought us so far along. Thanks for sharing!

Barely I understood anything from what I've just watched but this is the most interesting video in 2023. Thank you for such amazing content man, your passion to this is flooding through the screen and amazingly inspiring. Keep going❤

Amazing stuff, Michael Faraday would have been proud of you mate! Experimental science is an art form in itself, many great scientists fail when it comes to experimental work and rely on people with your skill-set to to demonstrate their theoretical work. Good experimenters, make their own discoveries and leave it to the theoretical guys to show why it happens. The truly great experimenters, do both.
I just wish my own experiments worked out so well. In my videos, I don't get close to the work that you are doing...

alright this is someone i like already. not only he’s working on something that is out of this world and no one from like 1000bc would ever expect to think “wow we went from lighting fires with rocks to accelerating a particle to light speed” not only that u also read comments which shows you truly care about our opinions and that makes me feel so welcomed in a weird good way. i really want to learn more and make this quantum mechanics my career but i don’t know how to get into this. u found urself a new sub though.

This definitely takes the cake for best diy project, at least in the last decade. Keep up the good work!

This is so cool, I never thought a legitimate particle accelerator could be built in a garage, amazing work and your explanations are really informative.

Man I'm shocked at how much content there is in this video. You go over things quickly and clearly, but it must have been a huge amount of work! Building, testing, animating/coding. Congrats this is great content. +1 sub

The fact your not sponsored by some of the brands you use in your work is actually a damned shame. There aren't many of those with degrees in this field doing the things your doing. Amazing man! ⚛️👨🏻‍🔬

this video is almost nostalgic for me - I used to live near CERN and this video lends so much context to all the amazing machinery i wasnt allowed near!

This right here is apex human ingenuity! This guy does more science and scientific inspiration for us regular folks in his freaking garage with his limited budget and access to tools and materials (AND JUST FOR "FUN") than hundreds if not thousands of well-paid but lazy Ph.D.s around the world that do absolutely NO SCIENCE for themselves or the humanity at large despite having a million times the resources. Congratulations man and thank you for what you do. MAD RESPECTS from Istanbul and I can't wait to see your next big project!

I have no idea why you don't have more subscribers. Found your channel yesterday and can't stop watching.
