Riccia Fluitans "Crystalworth"
- It was made popular by the famous Japanese Aquascaper Takashi Amano.
- It is most commonly used as a free floating plant, but can also be attached to objects and grow fully submerged.
- Can be tied down to a Stone, Driftwood or Mesh.
- Good for Carpet
- Can be simply left free-floating
- Riccia does not extract nutrients through a typical root system. Instead, it absorbs whatever source of nourishment it needs.
- This plant does like a high nutrient supply of Nitrate, Phosphate, Iron and Potassium.
- Can grow without CO2 (Low-Tech).
- Liquid Fertilizer and CO2 will provide good growth.
- Riccia Fluitans does not require very specific water conditions.
- Water Ph can vary 5.0 to 8.0
- Light requires atleast 4 to 8 hours
- Temperature: 15 to 30 Celcius
- It is a plant that does NOT require an Extensive Amount of Care, which even makes it SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS TO USE.
