Loki hoped to send the monster to Thor. That would teach him a lesson, Thor wouldn’t be killed, he was way too good a warrior for that, but he would take quite a beating.
But Thor wasn’t to the stairs to the left...Frigga was. And so was Y/N, Thor had sent her to keep attention off of Jane so that he could find a place for her to hide.
Despite both Frigga and Y/N’s attempts to kill Malekith, it was no good.
They ended up weary and covered in injuries.
That was when they saw him - a Cursed. One of the most feared monsters of all of Asgard’s history...
Loki lost the two people who meant everything to him, that day.
