Slept there in a sleeping bag on a cycling holiday in 1970. The town at night was great! There was a "strongman" show in the square - he was dressed like Hercules with big iron chains ....the sort of rustic thoroughly exciting entertainment on offer in those days! Now. I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!😅 Too commercialised.
