WORTH IT? || FULL FACE OF SEPHORA BEST SELLERS

Sephora VIB Sale 2018 is still going on so I thought I would share with you reviews on some of their best sellers! I did a full face of makeup I've never tried from Sephora to share with you some first impressions. I put them to the test for the next 2 weeks afterwards so I added my review at the end! What's your review on these makeup best sellers from Sephora? Any favorites?

I'm an oily girl and I love the DW foundation. I like the Lancôme foundation as well but doesn't last as long on me. Please do a Sephora collection review.

wow the powder looked ghostly white!!! I have it too, but mine has a soft yellowy undertone to it (it’s the translucent one) so it never looked like that and I’m amongst the light-tan skin tone range! Maybe accidentally it was the “Secret Brightening Powder” or whatever that one is called?? I’ve tried that one in store and it felt like dry chalk, plus looked like white dust!

you know what Emily? you are not the only one with this Laura Mercier powder, I thought I was the only one, because it was caking my under eyes like crazy... and giving me this white cast too...BTW loved your video!!

I don’t get the hype on the Laura Mercier powder either! It looks so thick and dry! My current favourite is the too faced born this way powder! Looks so great on the concealer you just tried!

Hi Emily--I have very dry, 50+ mature skin, but Estee Lauder Double Wear is the only thing I use when I need good staying power. As long as my skin is exfoliated and well-moisturized, I have no problems with it feeling heavy or caking up. It also mixes well with my Cerave moisturizing lotion, so when I want a sheerer finish, I just mix the two and create my own CC potion that lasts all day.

I have super dry skin and that powder sucks what little life it has left out. Not a fan.

I would LOVE a whole video on Sephora’s own brand of products.

I’m dry, 62 & got wrinkles and lines. I’m usually your shades foundation & you might like 2N1 Desert Beige in Estée DW. I hope you try DW again minus the powder. I never use the Laura M with it either. Sucks the life out.

What I do with my DW is I use a drip of Argan oil or Vichy dry face oil. Majistral. Plus I also use Josie Maran Mineral SPF in Argan oil. I apply then let it settle before foundation.

Then apply the DW and the biggest tip is I LET THE DW SETTLE & dry down for a few minutes. That way I don’t have to use any powder. Think of it as “self powdering”!😜

After that pause I carry on applying blush etc etc.

I use Milani eye primer which I set with MAC Blanc Type or Brule. Then go ahead with shadow.

That’s how I use DW & I absolutely love it.

As for Laura M, I use it to set more moisturizing stuff like MAC Face&Body. It can be a bit drying. I got the travel size but my real favourite setting powder is NYC ($5!) ! Even then I don’t use more than a tapped off fluffy brush dipped maybe twice.

I never ever “bake”! Dry skin plus wrinkles—-😲not for me. Do you really need to bake anymore since your skin changed?

I just use powder to refine the look not to cope with oil.

Back to Sephora brand. Their balm gloss is the best formula (Earth Angel shade is a gorgeous mauve nude) even though the applicator is not great.

Nobody is doing reviews on Sephora & I want a guide to which ones, which shades are worth buying.

The laura mercier powder is so overhyped, i dont really care for it. I have drug store powders that are so much better.
Ive heard the the cover fx perfect powder is better, and Ive heard the new hourglass powder is nice as well.
