Now the question is: How do you revive a YouTube Channel that was dead on arrival?

My channel in general was dead on arrival. It started to take off on my first week of my channel, but then it took a nosedive immediately. Throughout 2016 and 2017, things became worse. There were some videos of mine that gained views, but say that to my newest videos. I never had a chance the moment my channel came into existence in 2015. I am considering to stop uploading videos completely after the end of 2019 if I don't get my channel going. I'll stop using an intro as I think it's harming my watch time.

I'll see if I can recover from the 9-month gap I had between 2 videos from 2016-2017. I'll relaunch my channel then.

My original channel gingerlola was doing so well for awhile, over 50k subs but only less than 1% active, i started fresh with a new channel, gingers doll world, its going slow but its going... but i still have the main channel and don't want to just let it die, so i was thinking of doing live streams.... i did a couple already but they were too long, and brought down my retention rate further, should i delete the long livestreams and concentrate on shorter 'video' like livestreams?? thank you !
