Top/Best OBD11/OBDEleven Tweaks | VW MK7 GTI/R

Here are some of my favorite tweaks using an OBD11/OBDEleven to code features in my VW MK7 GTI. The OBD11 works with all VAG vehicles so there will some tweaks I have that some vehicles don't and vice versa.

TURNING ON FOG LIGHTS W/ DRLs on MK7 GTI:
1. Central Electronics
2. Adaptations
3. (5)-Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion B 12 [from: not active - to: daytime running lights]
4. (5)-Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion B 13 [from: not active - to daytime running lights]

Great tool. My favorite tweaks are

-allow fog lights with high beams
-mirror dip when in reverse
-windows down with keyfob.

The close all windows with rain is a nifty feature too. If you have the rain sensing wipers, you can leave your windows and sunroof slightly open on a warm day for example, and if it rains while you are not there, the sensor will detect the rain and shut all the windows and sunroof.

Just ordered mine today. Looking forward to the traction control off, fog lights with drl, and 5 brake lights!

You don’t need to do any coding to use the drl’s with the fog lights. You just gotta grip the light switch/knob pretty hard when it’s on the parking lights position and pull on it until it pops out. It’ll feel like you broke it, but it’s fine. I’ve done it so much with my switch that pulls out with hardly any effort, just like when the switch is in the auto or low beam position

VW do not pump engine audio through speakers. They have a Soundakator

I believe the sound thing exists because VW got the ea-888 engine running so smooth that stock it wouldn't make enough noise to be heard.

Hey, so I lowered my MK7 Alltrack. I have the light package but my headlights are throwing way short from when it was stock ride height.
Using the OBDeleven, how do I change the throw height without knocking the lights off track?

I imagine most programs wont work with the tsi computer but will programs like urban joke and key fob window control work with the tsi?

For the DRL with the fog lights on does that work in the auto feature? Or does it have to be in the DRL mode to have the dogs come on?
