1980 CR250 Elsinore

Completely rebuilt bike from top to bottom. Motor is fresh from the crank out everything has been cleaned and repainted, replated etc. It also has a set of Fox Forks and Fox piggyback shocks.The bike is only been through two heat cycles so far. Sounds very nice but I still need to dial in the carb just a bit

Ahh! that sound takes me back to 79 but I had Fox Airshox and Simonz fork. I truly hated left side kickers though and had to dismount to start!

Thats my most favorite twin shock bike of all time. I had a 79 CR250 and a 1980 CR125 but never a 1980 CR250.

I had this same bike for years. It was my first vintage mx bike, and the only Honda I've ever owned. Mine was totally clapped when I got it. I made it mechanically sound, but it was no looker. It was so damn much fun to ride though. Light weight, handled great, and would rip!

I had one of those from 81 to 90 I loved it best time to be a kid and own the kick butt of all bikes.

My first motorcross bike in the UK.
It was called the red rocket wasnt it?
Anyway mine had a kick starter problem, after it started the kickstart would drop right down, but if it stalled it would smack back up with serious force and slap your leg.
