Removing mughal from ncert wouldn't change the history

Foreigners are reading Mughals in world history and is removed from Indian syllabus itself. That's why education should be compulsory for pm, cm, mp and mla.

I am sorry but I think News laundry the fact is that we are provided with the story of how great the Mughals are in our books, I will rather have the full story of the good as well as bad things. Whether you like it or not most of what they did was bad but we are never taught that the loots, genocide, conversions, destruction of our monuments & much more.
I think history should be taught on how barbaric they were and then we should focus on how our empires whether it be Sikh, Maratha, Rajputs etc fought with them. I will rather have that.

To be fair, we read too much about the Mughals. I think 1 year of our ICSE syllabus was completely devoted to Mughals. What was the use of learning about the Mughal tax system etc. We hardly covered Harsha, the Gupta's, the southern kingdoms, the Delhi sultanate, nizams etc. We also read very little about the Marathas from whom the British took over other than Shivaji's run-ins with Aurangzed. So while not in favour of completely removing the Mughals from the courses, I think there should be a more equal distribution in the syllabus. Or in my opinion, make club civics and geography and give significance to History

Even the ghori is in syllabus but how he got defeated from Naiki Devi is not mentioned

Good work, i never liked reading about fughals when there is so much indian history to cover instead of covering up invaders who invaded just ₹30% of population.

Also, ncert was biased about South Indian kingdoms and Assamese dynasties.

In class 7 NCERT there are near about 11 chapter in which 6 chapters fully dedicated to Delhi sultanate and their achievements ... Even their genocide and drawback are not mentioned


Sikhs, jat, Marathas who are also important part of Indian history are limited only in 3 pages ...


Was it right ???

How south India and students of seven sister could connect themselves with this history ....

May be u should concentrate on why Ashoka, shivaji, chandragupta maurya were not added until now. Why sardar vallabhai patel name was not mentioned in any of text books.... We could see only Nehru.... Pls concentrate on that as People will consider ur channel
