J.B. Holmes highlights | Round 4 | Genesis Open 2019

In the final round of the 2019 Genesis Open, J.B. Holmes carded a 1-under 70 to finish at 14-under for the tournament and grab his fifth-career PGA TOUR victory.


The Genesis Open is contested at Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles, California. Reigning TOUR championship winner Tiger Woods is playing at the event and doubles as the tournament host. In 2018, Bubba Watson claimed his third Genesis Open title and 10th TOUR win.

Got to be said but one of the most hard to watch players besides Patrick Cantlay. Respect his golf game but cannot respect him as a golfer. His pace of play is embarrassing and the Tour needs to start penalizing groups or individual members for slow play. Plumbobbed for 2min on a 50ft putt. Bet this dude wears socks when he sleeps

The pace this guy plays must be sp frustrating for everyone around him. Not taking away from his win, but surely you cant have guys playing at this speed.

Like McEnroe's screaming at the umpire to disrupt his tennis opponent, Holmes constantly breaks the new rule on time in order to disrupt his golfing opponents. He won by no one enforcing the new '40-seconds' rule whenever he broke it. He won by being rude on nearly every shot by deliberately delaying play, injecting a mental negativity in his more polite, gentlemanly opponents who played by the rules. McEnroe proved that playing a psychological rudeness works in tennis; now Holmes proved that it works in golf. Dishonesty was rewarded.
