Happy Spring!!! It is finally Spring in Upstate New York, I think, we are going to see temps in the upper 60's next to the big Lake Ontario. Folks inland will see 70's, gotta love that cold lake!  It is time to plant some seeds, shallots and onions today while I am riding on all that positive energy from Our star, peace and love to all!!!

Here in UK noticable warmth as the wind has changed direction... I woke up this morning to half my TV channels missing.... whenever you  predict high CME incoming I lose TV channels I have been noting this Scotland has been having problems with internet and power coincidence? For people like me who have no education in your science I find your updates so interesting and accurate. Thankyou.

~Current conditions in Corvallis, OR: 55* degrees F (with Accuweather's "RealFeel" of 67*) 66% humidity (That's a DRY day here!) and "wind" from the North at zero mph. There's about 25% cloud cover, with bright skies and blue jays imitating Screamin' Jay Hawkins! -- 'Tis supposed to be 66* (F) today, with "mixed showers" which is my favorite kind of day: the ones where it rains through the sunshine! <3

~Sorry I haven't been able to comment much lately. When I do, it's usually night-time here on the Left Coast, which means all of you Easterners are already offline and in bed. ( =sadpants for me.) Last night I did find a handfull of research links that I thought you all would be interested in, so I posted them in Ben's "Interplanetary Shockwave Impact" video comments, or they're on my G+ page.

~One small item of local note, in order to compare with everyone else here: I noted that all of our fruit trees here (Plum, apple, cherry) have all bloomed seemingly early, and dropped all of their blossoms in less than two weeks. -- Caught me off gaurd as being "unusual" as it seems there are "pretty flowers" to look at for more than just a couple of weeks in what should be a "season." -- Anyone else experiencing such phenomenon??

Tasmania received a strange Monday – after a minimum temp around 4°C the temperature never made it into double figures during the day. My wife said ‘it was like someone hit the winter switch’ as the daily temps have been rather mild lately. It was a very cold and wet April day for Tassie. But then with-in 15 minutes the temp jumped from 9.7°C to 14.7°C around 8:50pm and rose to 18°C around 3:30am! Devonport also received some thunder around 4am. It was almost a complete reverse of the ‘normal’ pattern which is, warm first, and then cold after the front. Must have been a “weather Easter Egg”! Appreciating the reports Mate – awesome stuff…..
