SBTG: WHO INFLUENCES MY STYLE OF CUSTOMISATION?

Показать описание
Please watch: "MAYOR: BUILDING BRAND MAYOR!"
-~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
The SBTG brand has been making waves since the early 2000s thanks to their military, punk and skateboarder influenced artwork. Their unique designs have been emblazoned on paintings, clothing and of course their sought after custom creps. If you've ever been privileged to see one of their customisation jobs, then you know that the attention to detail and the precision that goes in to each pair is impeccable and further solidifies their prolific name. Mark Ong AKA Mr Sabotage has a military background which is one of the key factors that permeates each piece of work he lays his hands on right down to his trademark camouflage print, world war era graphics taken from the sides of fighter planes to the gold lettering on each pair. In all honesty for the level of work that goes in to each pair, the price tag on his releases are more then reasonable whether your getting his Air Force 1's, Air Jordan's or Air Max's their all boast a striking presence. As for collaborations they've done it all from linking up with the “Clean Fashion Technology” experts Crep Protect on the “Defence Pack” which was limited to a mere 1,250 individually numbered pieces globally that featured a military styled can packed within a wooden ammunitions box. In addition to this a limited run of 20 customised sneakers also hit the shelves and sold out in quick succession. Recently Mr Sabotage, the head honcho of the renowned Singapore collective, sat down with us to discuss some of the other sneaker customisers across the globe that influence him in both designs and in business.
We’re highlighting sneaker culture in its entirety and showcasing the rich diverse content that it has to offer, while remaining unashamedly authentic. Our content ranges from up in-depth reviews of the latest trainers out with 'The Fix', engaging interviews and insightful artist/celeb reviews. Whether its our coverage of the footwear being donned by artists, entertainers and celebs, or reporting highlights from some of the best sneaker events in the city, we have you covered 360!
