Mounk Tounk Claims YSL Is Not a Gang, Only a Record Label

Prosecutor Adrian Love pressed alleged YSL member Mounk Tounk about YSL being more than just a record label, but a gang. Tounk insisted that the statement is false. He also showed the jury what "hand sign" the alleged members used. Tounk also testified that the co-defendants did not commit a crime to increase the street rep of YSL.
Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
