The Illinois Department of Children & Family Services has so few appropriate placements for kids that hundreds have been stranded in treatment programs and hospitals longer than is medically necessary.

It's just these facilities milking the system. Get that govt money for no work for as long as you can. Good old boys club still existing. Gotta have patients.

Foster parents are giving up the job due to illness or retirement. Younger people are not as interested in the program.
Where do you put the children if no one wants to foster or adopt?
It's more difficult for the child has mental or emotional challenges.

Blacks need to place a premium on 2 parent households and education. Northsiders are over subsidizing the south and west sides with no roi.

You can just show up at your 8 1/2 of your pregnancy and walk in the ER....have your child and jump on the Welfare train...Let's fix

$6 million per year for 356 kids?? I bet with $6 million dollars you can get them way better accomodations with some good super vision. Sounds like bad management to me. Your talking about 1 kid per day with an extra 50 stay. I think crunching the numbers it would be rather easy to get those kids out of there. Big government never makes the right decision for the people!! All they do is throw money away!!! NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!
