Sata 4000 rp. Iwata ls400 entech

I've been using my 4000 to for a few years now with the needle fully closed I turn it out 2 turns which is probably only a hair more then a quarter turn from your settings and spray at 30psi works great for my daily clear usage of ppg ec530

Interesting. I'm guessing it takes you about 2 trigger squeezes to figure out the character of a gun and make the proper adjustments. Looks like it laid out well.

Rp stand for reduced pressure so I believe you can drop the pressure a few pounds to find the sweet spot. I wonder how 26-27 psi will treat you?

That's a very cool gun Matt. I know your in a booth but did you have a lot of overspray at the 30psi? I think the sata guns feels a lot different in the hand than an iwata. One more question, how close to the panel did you spray? Looks great. I don't know why anybody would say anything bad about that gun.

Looks great what brand clear are you using? I love my lph 400 but maybe it's time to check out the sata, I do have a sata minijet i use on touch ups. it works great.

sweet score on the guns, but go ahead and send those guns to me since you can figure out how to set them... i see you picked a nice solid opaque color to try it out how... how about some metallic!

It's a guy on YouTube by the name "mrcorosive" that paints ferrari's with a S 4K. He recommends 19 psi and full fan but I think he sprays ceramic clear. To each is own tho...
