Impermanence and Acceptance in Samsara

The Buddha shared three profound truths about existence.

The first was the inherent dissatisfaction in samsara, the cycle of life and death.

The dissatisfaction of its fleeting nature against our desire for permanence is constant.

We seek to contain it, akin to building a dam on a ceaselessly flowing river. But it's an impossible endeavor.

Life is a sequence of fleeting moments, constantly changing.

Should we embrace this reality, we find peace in the ever-changing tide, regardless of whether it conforms to our desires or not.

However, if we resist change, and strive to maintain things as they are, or manipulate them to our liking, we invite trouble.

These are words of wisdom from Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo.
