I love stir fried broccoli, a bit of olive oil in the wok, then salt and pepper (and chili if you like heat) and fry the broccoli until it goes a very vibrant bright green and before it loses all of its crunch. The broccoli done this way has a delicious nutty flavour. I love it!

Since you have pico de gallo, I’m guessing tomatoes aren’t bad? My fave go to form is a Tomato Broccoli Salad I meal prep every week. Cherry tomatoes cut in half with broccoli florets chopped small and green onion. I just use a bag of frozen broccoli so I don’t need to blanch it. I dress the salad with lemon juice, balsamic vinegar and olive oil, plus garlic powder and a ton of dried Basil. Gets better after a day or two. Love it especially for lunch with cold chicken and 1/4c of cottage cheese.

Love this video, but wish the #1 food was actually included in the video. I did go view the other video, 7 Superfoods Diabetics Should Eat Everyday, to see the #1, chia seeds. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! :)

Very helpful information in your videos, thank you! But on your list of 7 top vegetables cabbage is missing. Any reason?

Excellent video! I'm going to try the broccoli soup. One thing that might be worht mentioning though is that if you're using the Freestyle Libre some of these foods combined on the same day might put you over the 500mg limit of Vitamin C. I haven't seen a lot of information about how much going over that limit will impact the sensor, but I've tried to keep it in mind when meal-planning since I started using the sensor.
