Is this a joke? China started selling EV cars with Sodium battery already! How is this factory supposed to be the end of China Battery monopoly???
China started selling EV cars under 10k Euros with this type of batteries in 2023!

All Talk. When they can produce it and at a competitive cost, then we will believe it.

Until then it is another " click bat " for funding.😂😂

I'm holding out for 2nd generation solid state batteries.
What an awesome company.
Thank you for recycling.

Hoped for more specific information about this factory and its battery

And again, China came out first with a new cheap car and a sodium-ion battery. Europe, Europe, Europe, why can't you protect your own developed technology?

Their Sodium ion battery is validated at 160 Wh/kg. Not ideal for EVs at this early stage until super charging is widely distributed, but very useful for gird storage, due to the low fire risk.

Now that you have a computer to read the script (that can't pronounce words properly). I guess you can't be accused of verbal diarrhea but runny shitty typing because it just went on and on without saying anything of interest except on the odd occasion with details of the batteries they were making.
Did someone get paid by the word? A thirteen-plus-minute video should have been less than seven minutes long. When are these AI text-to-speech going to learn to pronounce place names and other words with more than a couple of syllables!

With supercharging highly saturated and widely dispersed, 160Wh/Kg is all you will need. The challenge rests now in rollout of the super charging networks.

What does "maximises the social benifits of it's operation' mean? Who wrote this tripe?

China has already put into production car, they were the first to make the invention

small tip, dont say "the company this, the company that, the company x, the company y, the battery this, the battery that, etc" its like someone's reading me some bulletpoints or something, it would be fine more cohesion between phrases, not just a statement, stop, a statement, stop, more like a fluent argument that goes on and on until it reaches a conclusion, i dont know if im explaining myself correctly

More capacity is nice, but I would settle for batteries that do not spontaneously combust.

So far they have only produced 0, 15% of what the factory can produce since 2016, and burnt about 10 biljon USD and still need more funding and need at least 300 MW of electricity, that we don't have. The losses the first nine month 2023 was a staggering around 11 biljon SEK (appr 1, 5 biljon AUD) on a turn around of 0, 6 biljon SEK! When will all this insanities end?

Nonsense. Because Europe doesn't use socialism, its development will always be lagging behind.

I thought Japan, South Korea and the US also make battery. Since when China has the Monopoly?

Byd is way ahead in electric battery production.
