This set just started showing up at Walmarts near me. Definitely need to add it to my collection. I have all the previous releases of these figures and I have to say that the Original Heroes Flash is my favorite of the 4 releases but this Ming will be my favorite of the 4.

The "movie" Ming headsculpt also comes with the "Original Super Heroes" version, that is based on the '79 cartoon.

Well done review. QC issues are the bane of collectors, the spider wrap does make it so hard too discern paint app and production errors. The TMNT 2-packs with the open windows are the exception. Shipping malice is also a roulette with Walmart too. ✌️

NECA really did good work on this IP's. I thought that I only needed The Phantom. I ended up getting most of them except this set that I didn't know was coming out and that Ice Thingy that I really don't feel like a necessity unless I get it at a clearance price. But yeah. NECA is one of my favorite toy lines.

Dammit! I just completed the Defenders of the Earth except for the ice thingy and the original Superheroes sets. Now this shows up. My wallet needs a break! Still if this is available next payday I'll order it. Otherwise, ...I'm happy with what I got.
