European coaches who obsess over blade angles should take notice. If you hit with acceleration your shot will make it.

when other channels make lessons for shakehand player, someone has to preserve and promote the beauty of penhold grip, keep up the good work mate, cant wait for another lesson

I have an awesome trainer who gives the same advices.
He says, as long as your footwork is good, you can hit every ball, it doesn't have to be 100 % power and speed, 80% power but 20% more precision is more important.
He's an athlete at least, very fast, and credible because his ttr is above 2000 for more than 10 years.

100 % true, footwork really matters. If you see all of top Chinese player's (Ma Long, Xu Xin, FZD) legs, especially their thighs muscle are very huge compared to non-athlete like us.

the sound of the rubber lightly brushing the ball is very satisfying, it also produces crazy spin

I think I am seeing the same outfits and people for all of RSM's tips and tutorials that you uploaded. was it on a single day? I am now afraid that those videos will be running out if it was only on a single day. I wish you have many lefts. thank you so much for uploading it.

This is great. I can tell you're a very knowledgeable coach. Many coaches talk too much about racket angles when the really important stuff is about using the body better to get faster racket speed

Thank you so much for this channel! I play with jpen and it's really hard to find proper videos about this style! You, sir, are a miracle-worker! Keep up the good job!

Thank you for helping preserve the penhold esp jpen style in a time when shake hold is now much more popular in general

This is GOLD.
Screw the angle, same angle, different speed, I will give it a shot, or two, or two thousand.

It’s crazy that I just watched another video that says the same but also different. He said not to hit like that, don’t go down like Timo. It’s outdated relic from old ball era (he’s a young national CHN player), he even said care little of the opponent backspin if your technique is good. New ball spin interact much less than old ball where you have to brush backspin to keep consistency. Now you focus on quality of your own shot while making minimal adjustment and the ball would still be enough to land on the table.

It's all come down to contact point & acceleration?

박피디님 유승민 관장님이 강의를 주기적으로 해주시나요? 아니면 예전에 찍은걸 조금씩 올리시는건가요? 궁금합니다
