This is by far the best astrophotography video I have found for those just getting started in this field. One of the key instructions included in this video, but either omitted or addressed only by implication in other videos I have seen, is the trial and error nature of the camera settings (shutter, aperture, and iso) used to photograph the moon. Since the other tutorials did not address that topic fully, I had been thinking I should let the camera tell me the settings. I gave that a try, and it was a big fail. Now I know what to do. 17:50: Regarding the f-Numbers:

A way to remember them is to relate them to the edge of the lens.
The smaller the number is the closer the edge of the aperture opening is to the edge of the lens (therefore a larger aperture opening).
On the opposite larger f-number means the edge of the aperture opening is further away from the lens-edge (therefore smaller aperture opening).

I use this technique to remember what is large and what small opening.

I use Siril for all my DSO stacking but always had trouble with moon stacks. This is the most straightforward Siril moon stacking demo I've seen, and it works, very helpful!
