The Gen8 V2 International® Scout II is a highly competitive professional rock crawler that includes many performance features such as: C-channel frame rails, low center of gravity battery tray, centrally mounted divorced transfer case, lockable slipper clutch, portal axles with metal gear covers, MOD-1 gears, machined aluminum spools, front CVAs, 32 rubber-sealed ball bearings, threaded aluminum shocks, 47º steering blocks with proper Ackerman, Panhard bar, LED-ready bumpers, winch-ready front bumper, and frame mounted floor pans.

These are by far my favorite crawler. My dad worked for international harvester as did my grandpa. Scouts used to be all over our area. Unfortunately they all rotted away from winters here in Iowa/Illinois. Scout fan for life

Love that when you are driving it you have total control. Also appreciate the fact that you don’t talk while you are driving it. I truly love just watching it work. Also, I have a 1/24 micro crawler and had issue with it being slightly top heavy. I work at a tire shop and actually used some 1/4 ounce sticky weights and put them inside the body to help weigh it down and it worked perfectly. My gen 8 v2 should be here next week and I’m gunna do the same thing with that. Great videos man. Keep up the good work

My green truck is still gonna take two weeks to get here sadly :(
I just felt that the rear bumper was tucked in a little too much, might be good for crawling but takes away the scale look, but your truck your choice!
Will def try the new shock positions and the front bumper.

Just got mine 2 days ago and it just didnt crawl slow and smooth as i hoped for with stock remote it made it want to jump and jerk hard on throttle witch made it hard to control in tight ruff spots so i changed the remote to a dumbo rc 6x and it made it drive like a whole different truck, i didnt think that just a remote change wood have made that much of a difference but its a 100 percent better now, i also think it runs best on 2s

The original one came with the spare tire and a spare tire mount for the back of the truck, the wheel could also be used on the truck!!!

One of the best deals in rc's, don't know why anybody would buy any other crawler when starting out.Price, availability, upgrades, and it performs right outta the box.I think i just sold myself, thx for sharing

Also bring the bumper back out it's not sitting flush in front and will come off when you take a fall man . Trim the rear to bring the rear bumper out a notch and it will all look flush

The hot gluing of the leds was unnecessary the truck comes with led screw in retaining clips. Otherwise nice work.

Still lovin' your Scout videos! I've got one coming and have tried to find the interior like yours but can't locate it. Any chance they're still out there somewhere? Also, did you do the Redcat lighting system on your rig or ?? Looking good!
