Meike Mirrorless Cinema Lenses with Veydra Co-Founder Ryan Avery

A quick look and update from Ryan Avery the Co-Founder of Veydra lens company on Meike mirrorless cinema lenses. Ryan talks about the history of Veydra and the introduction of the similar yet different and improved Meike prime lenses for Micro4/3, Sony E, Fuji X mirrorless mount cameras. Special guest Matthew Duclos from Duclos Lenses discusses his early involvement in the Veydra project and the features of the Meike mirrorless cinema lenses.

Meike mirrorless cinema primes are compatible with all Mircro4/3 MFT mount cameras available in focal lengths of 12mm, 16mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 65mm and 85mm. The lenses are also available for Fuji X and Sony E mount in 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 65mm and 85mm which cover Fuji X and Sony E mount cameras in super35 2K and 4K video recording modes.

At the time of Veydra I was shooting with old PL glass on my RED cameras.
So I missed out.
Fast forward to a few days ago and at events surrounding Cinegear in LA, Ryan encouraged me to try them on.
I got to test the Mini Primes on my Komodo and it was love at first sight!
The build quality and resolving power of these mini marvels of optical design are amazing!
They are incredibly well corrected with controlled flaring and they are definitely punching way above their weight!

I would definitely buy a set of these if they were in PL mount. I would use them on my 16mm camera and I think a lot of operators would use them on S35 cameras as well.

Is there any chance Meike will release a 19mm like Veydra did for aps-c cameras. Be nice to have something a bit wider for the Fuji Xt3/4.
