After visiting the sick minister, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin attacked the BJP, accusing it of engaging in "politics of intimation." After a day of raids and hours of interrogation, Senthil Balaji was finally taken into custody last night. Tuesday's raid by the ED included both Balaji's home and his office at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat. Senthil had a breakdown while he was being driven by ED to the hospital for a checkup. Balaji appeared to be uncomfortable and to be sobbing in the car. K Annamalai, Tamil Nadu BJP Chief, said the action by the ED was the result of a five-year investigation into the cash for jobs scam.
