“Every last one of them trying to have it all” gets me every time because it so true. Everyone is trying to be seen and heard it’s like being normal isn’t good enough anymore constantly looking for something that will fill the pathetic emptiness many people have grown to have.

I couldnt agree more with him. Just want to adventure. Even if it is here on earth. We arent made to do the daily routines we do. Were made to explore, find new things and adventure. It's a feeling of freedom that's not like anything else.

Born too late to explore Earth, born to early to explore space; However, born just in time to explore ourselves and realize our place in the frontier to come.

Human kind isn't far away from this reality. The grandfather is me in 40 years time.
Cooper is right that human beings are explorers and pioneers. But we also need to be caretakers as well. Because our little blue and green planet is all we have for now. If we continue to over consume and overpopulate, then we're doomed as a species.

"When I was a kid, it felt like they made something new every day:some gadget, some idea, like everyday was Christmas but six billion people! Just try to imagine that. And every last one of them trying to have it all. This world isn't so bad. And Tom will do just fine. You're the one who doesn't belong. Born 40 years too later, 40 years too early."

I remember seeing that scene and thinking "Ok Zoomer". Turns out the grandpa in that movie was born in 1997 just like me.
Wonder what kinda socio-economic collapse he's been through. Notice, they don't even have smart phones anymore because of it.

I think we should focus more on reaching other planets and expanding civilization than just doing nothing

Anyone else feel like life right just isn’t right. I’m not complaining cause my life is better off than other people but I just feel like all humans lives are just to be educated into a system where we get a job that we mindlessly go to and do the same thing everyday. It just feels like we are ants working to make sure the anthill doesn’t break.

“6 billion people, just try to imagine that. And every last one of them trying to have it all.”
Eerily prophetic of life in 2024. Except there’s over 8 billion now. This is our doomed future.
