A Town Where You Life is one of my favorite mangas and even though the anime is flawed as hell - I still love watching it every so often. That poor SOB never gives up on his girl - nd the anime only shows a small portion of his struggles. There seems to be a small but dedicated group of admirers of this one.

I'm really happy "A Town Where You Live/Kimi no Iru Machi" came first on the list, but I'd suggest that anyone interested should go read the manga instead since it is not only well drawn but also has better pacing and is easier to follow than the anime. And if you like this type of story, you should probably read more stuff by Seo Kyouji, his stories are always amazing.
