Now I got the answer to my very long-ago question, maraming Pink Tarantula sa mga riprap ng lolo ko dati sa Sta. Fe, Romblon. Wala pa akong alam noon about tarantulas and I was so curious kung ano sila. Ngayon, I feel so relieved and happy to finally get to know about those scary spiders. 😁

Doc. as a tarantula keeper for many years, I would like to suggest to use catch bottle in catching the TS and putting them on a temp. enclosure for observation before releasing it into the wild instead of using thick protective gloves. This method will lessen the stress of TS while under observation.

To be honest po napaka aggresive po ng pag handle nyu sa tarantula kaya siya tumalon. Mga old world species kasi mabilis at maliliksi yan at kahit onting stress sa tarantula ai talagang tatakbo at tatalon yan. Old world species ang Romblon pink

Ganda ng SP Romblon Black & Pink! Madami pang SPs ng tarantula sa Philippines, sana may Arachnologist na mag study ng mga ito Doc. :) So far Philippine Tangerine Tarantula (Orphnaecus philippinus) palang ung identified ata.
