Fred again.. - Kyle (I Found You) [Hackney Wick station 20/11/18]

I was obsessed with Adam Magyar’s slow motion videos from Tokyo for a long time and then got to meet him on a freezing cold night in Berlin a few months ago. He turned up in a tank top fresh off of 9 months on his own in the Himalayas. The guy is a different one. In the most beautiful way. So I got together a bunch of friends at hackney wick station one eve not long after and we tried to make our own version. And big shouts out to all those lovelies who came! This is what we ended up with. The idea was that the video would come first and then I’d make a song to the video. So this is that. There’s one from the day time too which I’m workin on now.

Kyle was this guy who I found at an open mic poetry night and he did this unbelievably beautiful thing about meeting this girl for the first time.

Describing the bar as tho it was like a war zone of like absolute chaos.

The line ‘in this smoking chaos our shoulder blades kissed’ is as close to perfection as 8 words can get.

Kyle was also then super sweet about it when I told him I’d re pitched him into a whole damn song lol 😬🙏🤗🙏

I found this song by Spotify randomly suggesting it. I was walking home from the shops and i just stopped suddenly as a wave of grief enveloped me. Its just so beautiful and full of emotion. I just stood in the sun with my groceries at my feet and listened as tears dropped from my eyes, drops splashing onto my phone.

I saw Fred Again first time this year at Flow Festival. I didn't really know what to expect since I've had only read the artist bio on the festivals homepage and listened two songs but I still put him on my list of the artists that I wanted to see during the festival weekend. Weather on the whole weekend had been awesome +25 celcius throughout the weekend. He was booked to play on sunday evening around 9pm if I remember correctly. This massive tent is packed with people and then the show starts. It's beyond good from the first beat. I'm super excited and dancing like there is no tomorrow then this song or Billie comes on(can't remember which one was first but anyways..) which at the time was the first time I've heard either of the songs and then I heard the lyrics and then this huge wave of good feeling takes over me and tears just start rolling down from my eyes. I was so happy. There also was something magical to see thousands of people come together and have such a good time after what's been going on in the world for the past two years. I'll forever remember that moment and I still talk about it with my friend everytime I see him.

I was just reading some comments left on Fred's other songs while listening to the songs, where people are sharing their stories how much Fred's music makes them feel so I decided to share my own story on this song since it made me feel so much in August and still makes feel so good.
